Kodak Playsport Zx5 - True Full Hd in a Shockproof Case

Kodak Playsport Zx5 - True Full Hd in a Shockproof Case

Hd Media Player

Kodak was not first out of the gate in the pocket camcorder market. For a long time they lagged behind Flip. Since they've introduced the Playsport Zx5, they're clearly leaving them far behind, though.

But forget about comparisons for now. The Kodak Zx5 is a superb camcorder/digital camera all by itself. Many of the features carried over from the Playsport Zx3 demonstrate that, and the new features only seal the conclusion.

Like its older brother, the Zx5 is a small, lightweight unit. It measures a very modest 4.4" high x 2.3" wide x 0.7" thick and weighs a mere 125 g (less than 1/3 of a pound).

The Playsport Zx5 is waterproof. Shoot in the rain, take it in your swimming pool, or dive under the surf down and never fear. It can shoot fine down to 10 feet for up to 2 hours. Even divers rarely stay down longer than that and fading deeper down would want special lighting.

Luckily, the Zx5 is far more than just a repeat of an earlier fine model. It's a specific advance.

Sharing video and photos on social media sites is easier than ever. A straightforward three-step process starting with a straightforward button push puts your video (or photos) on YouTube, Flickr, Facebook, or any other popular sites. Or, take an email account, the Kodak Gallery or Pulse Display.

Shooting in full 1080p is now a realistic choice, too. Older models technically offered that feature, but beyond 720p it was often iffy. The Zx5 delivers. Plug this model into your Hdtv using the supplied Hdmi cable and that will come to be determined at once.

You can save a limited space by choosing the 720p setting. Or, if you want to narrative high-speed action, select the 720p/60 fps setting. The video still looks great. For the truly space-thrifty, there's a Wvga setting. However, thanks to inexpensive, large Sd cards you won't need it. Even at 1080p, the Playsport Zx5 will hold up to 10 hours of material on a 32 Gb Sdhc card.

The high potential 5Mp digital camera onboard means you won't need to carry along a separate still camera, either. A polite tap switches it to 16:9 ratio, letting you originate true widescreen Hd photos. In these days of 10Mp cameras that may not sound like much, but unless you crop a small image area and magnify it considerably, you'll never see the difference.

Built-in digital image stabilization ensures that both stills and video will be nice and sharp under general circumstances. For that extra bit of stability it's easy to use the Zx5's tripod mount. Smart face tracking technology tells the camera a face is in the frame and automatically selects the permissible focus and exposure.

Wolverine ESP 80 GB Portable Multimedia Storage Player Overviews
The Wolverine ESP was created for you to enjoy the freedom of multimedia portability anywhere, anytime. Featuring a 3.6 razor sharp LCD, built-in memory card readers and enormous storage capacity to carry and play all your digital photos, music and videos converged in the palm of your hand. Download images directly from any digital camera without a computer, store and play thousands of songs, record and watch hundreds of hours of video (DVR) or just listen and record music from any FM station.

Wolverine ESP 80 GB Portable Multimedia Storage Player Specifications
Designed specifically for busy professional and amateur digital photographers, the Wolverine ESP portable multimedia storage device lets you store and view thousands of photos, songs, and video files in a single convenient device. Digital photographers typically have to purchase multiple memory cards if they want to take a ton of photos while traveling. With the ESP, however, you need only a single card, as the unit's 80 GB hard drive stores the rest. When your camera's memory card is full, simply pop it in the Wolverine ESP's built-in 7-in-1 card reader. With the press of a button, the device transfers all of your photos and digital camera video data into a portable, self-powered mass storage unit. Once the contents of your card are safely stored in the ESP's memory, you can re-fill your memory card with brand-new photos--all without going anywhere near a computer. And because the device is battery powered, you can literally save your data anywhere in the world. It's perfect for traveling, sharing data during meetings, and just about any other on-the-go situation.

The ESP also includes a razor-sharp 3.6-inch LCD screen, letting you view stored photos and videos without plugging them back into your camera. Among the compatible photo formats are JPEG, Bitmap, Tiff, Text, and RAW images, while compatible video formats include MPEG-1, MPEG-4, WMV 9, and XviD. And as with many digital cameras, the ESP prints directly to a printer to save time and energy. The device is no slouch from an audio perspective, either, with support for MP3, WMA, OGG, WAV, ACC (MP4 audio), and CDA formats. In addition, the unit's drag-and-drop functionality makes it easy to transfer music files from your computer and play them instantly. As a final bonus, the ESP includes a built-in FM radio with 18 presets that lets you listen to and record your favorite FM programs.

Other details include zoom, rotate, and slide show functions; an included A/V cable for connecting the ESP directly to any TV, projector, or stereo system; and compatibility with a separately sold cradle system that lets you record directly from a TV, DVD, VCR, camcorder, or other video source. The ESP measures 5.3 by 2.8 by 0.9 inches (W x H x D), weighs 10.2 ounces with the lithium-ion battery, and is backed by a one-year warranty.
